Capcom previously stated that there would be no public demo for Resident Evil Requiem prior to its launch, but they didn’t rule out the possibility of releasing one afterward. True to their word, three months after the game’s debut, the survival horror series’ latest installment now offers players a chance to dive into the initial stages of Grace Ashcroft and Leon Kennedy’s journey across all platforms.
The Requiem demo provides a glimpse into “part of the game’s early stages,” though it’s important to note that save data from the demo cannot be transferred to the full version. Fans of the series might recall the Dirty Coin item from the Resident Evil 7 Teaser Demo: Beginning Hour, which could be carried over to the main game. Regrettably, the Requiem demo doesn’t offer any similar unlockables.
Both Resident Evil Requiem and its demo are accessible on Windows (Steam), PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
