Indie developer Crush-vAdin, known by some as Bhaskara, is once again venturing into the realm of retro-style first-person shooters. Following the success of earlier titles like CULT VS GAL and GAL VS VILLAGE, their latest project, SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS, promises intense gameplay where players mow down waves of foes to the backdrop of high-energy, upbeat tunes.

In SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS, players assume the role of an unnamed character cursed by the succubus Lilin Zechthol. Seeking a change from her usual prey, Lilin tasks you with storming an angelic stronghold, armed to the teeth with a variety of weapons and special abilities.

Lilin’s reactions to your actions evolve as you unleash your fury. Whether you’re eliminating enemies, sustaining injuries, or narrowly escaping fatal encounters, the succubus in the lower right corner of the screen will respond accordingly. Interspersed between stages, narrative cutscenes featuring a diverse cast further flesh out the game’s world and Lilin’s eccentric demeanor.

Three primary weapons have been unveiled: a flexible assault rifle, a rapid-firing handgun with a potent melee strike, and a destructive close-quarters shotgun.

Players can also equip a selection of unique skills, including an invulnerable sliding maneuver to close gaps with adversaries, a triple-shot ability that unleashes multiple projectiles, and a stun pillar that momentarily stuns enemies. For those who prefer a purer shooting experience, a No Skill mode is available, disabling all special abilities and leaving only basic movement and firearm controls.

Each stage consists of several brief combat arenas. Player statistics such as completion time, damage sustained, and overall score are meticulously recorded based on the chosen weapons, skills, and difficulty level (SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS offers four tiers: Easy, Normal, Hard, and ExHard). The game also integrates with Steam Leaderboards, enabling players to pit their scores against fellow enthusiasts worldwide.

SATSUBATSU SUCCUBUS is slated for release sometime in Q4 2026 on Windows via Steam.
