Within just three days of its release, the game achieved impressive success, selling over 50,000 copies globally, and boasts an “Overwhelmingly Positive” Steam rating based on more than 800 reviews as of now. For those who haven’t deduced it from the game’s title (the number 45 may resonate with enthusiasts of Japanese adult media), Train45 offers an extremely NSFW twist on the spot-the-difference walking simulator genre introduced by The Exit 8. However, rest assured that it won’t compel you to engage in any questionable activities with the peculiar walking figure.
The narrative follows the player character upon awakening aboard a perpetually looping train that never arrives at its destination. Accompanied by two strangers, you are instructed by Konial, the self-proclaimed master of the train, to explore the numerous strange occurrences that plague it.
The central gameplay involves traversing the train and identifying irregularities, but the title also incorporates an emotional affinity system.
