Koei Tecmo revealed on September 16 that Team Ninja’s Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is slated for a March 4, 2027 launch across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam/Microsoft Store). An Alpha Demo is now live and will remain accessible until September 30.
As a standalone follow-up to 2023’s Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Wings of Ember delivers a high-difficulty action experience set in a dark fantasy rendition of the Three Kingdoms era. The latest Alpha Demo offers players a taste of the game’s Chinese martial arts mechanics, featuring segments from the Changban stage.
In addition to adopting an open-world framework, Wo Long 2 introduces Insight Skills that amplify the protagonist’s abilities. These mechanics enable players to deflect enemy assaults, drive foes into barriers, or intercept aerial opponents with ground slams. The title also supports multiplayer co-op and character creation, both of which will be featured in the Alpha Demo.
