The truth arrives late, but when it does, it completely destroys hate campaigns. After nearly six years of a grueling legal battle and unfounded accusations online, corporate giant ANYCOLOR officially announced that the lawsuit for damages filed by VTuber Nijisanji‘s Yuzuki Roa against an external content creator has concluded after reaching a formal agreement in Japanese courts, proving her absolute innocence.

Recalling how this hell began in the community, we must go back to October 2020. After the agency publicly announced the contract termination of an ex-member, a gossip streamer began publishing multiple streams claiming Roa had harassed and bullied her former colleague, forcing her retirement. These claims sparked a brutal funa on social media, leading Roa to file a lawsuit. During court hearings, the defendant admitted under oath that everything he said was completely false, that the alleged screenshots were manipulations provided by a third party, and offered an official apology to the creator for all damage caused.

Although the talented creator has remained on an indefinite hiatus since October 2020 without streaming games like Minecraft or live chats, the company confirmed she has never retired or graduated, maintaining her status as an active talent for the agency. The company’s management thanked fans who never abandoned the artist and reiterated that they have strengthened their civil and criminal demand systems against any defamation, making it clear they will not tolerate further destructive attacks on their talents.

Knowing that a single lie spread by internet drama channels could freeze the career of a talented creator for years, do you think the law should punish those who invent malicious rumors to ruin online creators’ lives?
