An heiress from one of Japan’s largest conglomerates who is perfect in public but can’t even take care of herself in private. That’s the premise of Rich Girl Caretaker, which has just released its second trailer, adding Kentaro Kumagai to the cast and confirming its premiere for July 5, 2026. The series will arrive on Crunchyroll in multiple regions worldwide.

The new trailer expands the look at the characters and their dynamic, building on previous promotional material with a focus on the central caregiver relationship between the protagonists. The opening “Sai Sai Saikōkyū no Osewa Shite” is performed by angela, while the ending “Kanpeki Janai Watashi” is interpreted by Ami Maeshima, who is also part of the voice cast.

Rich Girl Caretaker is a light novel by Yusaku Sakaishi with illustrations by Sakura Miwabe, published under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko since May 2021, with eleven volumes by October 2025. The manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima has six compiled volumes. The story follows Itsuki Tomonari, a high school student who gets involved in a kidnapping incident and ends up caring for Hinako Konohana, the heiress to one of Japan’s largest conglomerates. Although Hinako projects a bright and charming image, she is quite lazy and lacks basic life skills, something she must hide due to family expectations.
