Spending all on gacha and suddenly having those units be real in another world is the fantasy no player admits aloud but everyone has had. Gacha Girls Corps confirmed its anime with a premiere scheduled for January 2027, launching its official website on June 25 with a teaser, promotional image, cast, and production team. The project announcement has been ongoing since May 2025, but now the specific names behind the adaptation are revealed.

The teaser and promotional image offer the first look at the world and characters of the story, which follows Heihachi Okura, an average mobile game addict with a wallet ruined by gacha pulls. One day, one of those pulls teleports him to another world. Attacked by monsters with no other options, he does what he knows best: pull the gacha again. To his surprise, his units materialize before him in real life. He’s used to seeing cute girls appear on his phone screen, but never expected them to come out of it.

• Daisuke Sakaguchi as Heihachi Okura. (Shinpachi Shimura in Gintama and White Blood Cell in Cells at Work!).
• Miyu Tomita as Norl Fanya. (Gabriel White Tenma in Gabriel DropOut and Vignette April Tsukinose in Gabriel DropOut).
• Iori Noguchi as Estel. (Member of idol group =LOVE with anime dubbing experience).

The production team

General direction is handled by Masahiro Takada, with Takashi Asami as series director. Deko Akao oversees series composition. Character design is by Miori Suzuki, who also serves as chief animation director. Animation production is by Zero-G in collaboration with Saber Works, with music by Hiroaki Tsutsumi and George King.

Gacha Girls Corps (Gacha o Mawashite Nakama o Fuyasu) is a light novel by Chinkururi with illustrations by Yasutaka Isegawa that began on Shosetsuka ni Naro in January 2016, with the ninth volume published in August 2020. The manga adaptation by Syu Haruno has fourteen compiled volumes, with the fourteenth scheduled for June 29. The story blends mobile gacha mechanics with the isekai genre in a way that does exactly what its premise promises: bringing the logic of collecting powerful units to the fantasy world.
