About Magical Explorer

Written by Iris and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki, the light novel series began on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro in February 2018, later acquired by publisher Kadokawa in November 2019. The work also has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yukari Higa on the Young Ace Up platform. The story follows Kosuke Takioto, who after being reborn in the world of the legendary dating simulator Magical Explorer, discovers with horror that he is not the skill-cheating hero but the unlucky side character for comic relief, so he uses his game knowledge to change his fate.

With WHITE FOX handling animation and a premise mocking eroge tropes, do you think Magical Explorer will stand out as the funniest comedy of the fall season?
