Shiravune, the company responsible for bringing the original Taimanin Asagi to Western audiences, has revealed that Taimanin Asagi 2 is set to receive an official release on Steam. The upcoming version will support English, Japanese, and both Simplified and Traditional Chinese languages. As a sequel within the Taimanin series, the game first debuted in October 2006.
Taimanin Asagi 2 is an eroge visual novel that follows Asagi Igawa and her younger sibling, Sakura, as they journey to Tokyo Kingdom—a metropolis built on a manmade island near Tokyo. In this setting, the sisters confront demons and criminals while searching for their lost Taimanin allies.
The Steam edition of Taimanin Asagi currently holds a “Very Positive” score, though feedback indicates that the game is heavily censored. It remains uncertain how Taimanin Asagi 2 will address its mature content, but many enthusiasts are already pleased with the game’s Steam arrival and hope for additional franchise titles to follow.
