Gachiakuta manga confirms return date after research hiatus
Kei Urana will resume manga publication in Weekly Shonen Magazine on November 11.
Fans of action and urban art can breathe easy. After a multi-month hiatus for research, the Gachiakuta manga will return to Weekly Shonen Magazine.

Author Kei Urana confirmed the manga will return on November 11. Publication was halted in early August when Kodansha released the combined chapters 36 and 37, explaining the pause was needed for research and development.
The return ends an anxious wait for Rudo fans, especially given the manga’s recent surge in popularity. Serialization will resume its fast pace at a critical moment in the story.

Gachiakuta is an action-fantasy manga by Kei Urana, with Hideyoshi Ando designing the graffiti. It began in Weekly Shonen Magazine in February 2022 and has released 19 volumes. The story follows Rudo, a young man falsely accused of a crime, who gains powers in a monster-filled abyss and joins the Cleaners for revenge. The manga’s success led to an anime adaptation in July 2025, with a second season confirmed.
