The most powerful bald punches in anime are ready to roar again on TV. Bandai Namco Filmworks released a new video trailer confirming that the second part of the third season of One-Punch Man will arrive on screens in January 2027, accompanied by a new promotional image that heated up the spirits among fans of the work.

The big news for music lovers is that the legendary group JAM Project will be back to perform the opening theme titled “Never Done – SUPREME POWER VS ULTIMATE FEAR -“. The band, famous for setting the wild pace of previous installments of the bald caped hero, promises to deliver a powerful theme that will perfectly fit the escalation of violence in the Monster Association.

In the technical department, studio J.C. Staff takes over the animation of the series under the direction of Shinpei Nagai. The creative team brings back key members from previous installments, such as Tomohiro Suzuki overseeing the script supervision and the talented Chikashi Kubota in character design, collaborating this time with Shinjiro Kuroda and Ryosuke Shirakawa. Art direction is handled by Sakura Murakami, photography by Yuki Hirose, while Yoshikazu Iwanami directs the sound and Makoto Miyazaki returns to handle the musical composition.

This new batch of episodes will continue the events presented in the first half of the project, originally premiered at the end of 2025. The voice cast retains its main figures, featuring Makoto Furukawa as Saitama, Kaito Ishikawa as Genos, and Hikaru Midorikawa portraying the hero hunter Garou.

About One-Punch Man

One-Punch Man is an action and superhero story originally created as a webmanga by author ONE in 2009. The work achieved cult status after becoming a digital manga illustrated by master Yusuke Murata, whose stunning drawing quality began publishing on the Tonari no Young Jump portal from Shueisha publisher starting June 2012.

The story follows Saitama, a seemingly ordinary hero who, after training so hard he lost all his hair, gained such immense strength that he can defeat any threat or giant monster with a single punch. Tired of the lack of excitement in his fights and desperately seeking an opponent that challenges him to his limit, the bald hero joins the Hero Association alongside his loyal cyborg disciple, Genos, as the world faces increasingly destructive disaster-level threats.
