Grasshopper Manufacture has unveiled the first major update for its upcoming 2026 sci-fi action title, Romeo Is a Dead Man. This collaboration with the 2012 cult favorite Hotline Miami, a game cherished by Suda51, is now live on Steam, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions set to follow.
The latest additions to Romeo Is a Dead Man include a costume customization feature and a photo mode, alongside two exclusive Hotline Miami-themed outfits. Players can now emulate Jacket and the Biker, with additional customization options available.
Coinciding with this update, the game is currently 20% off on Steam, and a Hotline Miami bundle is available at a 10% discount. Grasshopper Manufacture confirms that console players will receive the same content and promotions in the near future.
The new costume customization feature in Romeo Is a Dead Man becomes accessible in Romeo’s room aboard the Space-Time Ship after completing the game. Meanwhile, the photo mode can be launched directly from the pause menu, allowing players to capture high-quality screenshots. This feature provides controls for camera adjustments, color correction, depth of field manipulation, and the application of custom frame art.
Romeo Is a Dead Man is available on PC (Steam), PS5, and Xbox Series X❘S. The Steam version is currently on a 20% discount.
