Japanese publisher Sanuk has revealed that the Steam version of the gothic action JRPG SiNiSistar2 is slated for release on May 16, 2026 (Source: GameBiz). Crafted by indie developer Uu, the game first appeared on DLsite in April 2025 as a follow-up to the 2019 original SiNiSistar, which achieved over 100,000 sales on the platform. While the initial release, classified as an adult title, contains numerous NSFW scenes, the Steam adaptation will be an “all ages version,” accompanied by an 18+ patch for those seeking more mature content.
SiNiSistar2 follows protagonist Sister Lelia and her partner Sister Hanya as they embark on a sacred mission to vanquish the evil plaguing the land of Arsezon. Set against a gothic backdrop rendered in a striking fusion of 2D pixel art and 3D visuals, the duo must confront eldritch abominations and nefarious cultists through a mix of melee and magical combat.
Equipped with Lelia’s purifying exorcist powers and Hanya’s healing abilities, players must observe enemy patterns and exploit vulnerabilities. The game features six distinct dungeons to explore, ranging from eerie swamps and dank caverns to deserted villages.
The developers confirm that the 18+ patch for SiNiSistar2 will be available via ErogeJapan, coinciding with the Steam launch. In addition to the all-ages content, the Steam version introduces platform-specific enhancements like cloud saves, achievements, and Steam Deck compatibility. Notably, the patched Steam edition and the original DLsite release share identical content.
To mark the release, an update featuring Rabiane’s (the original SiNiSistar protagonist) costume, a Hard mode, and additional quality-of-life tweaks will debut on May 16 for both DLsite and Steam versions.
SiNiSistar2 is currently accessible on DLSite. The game will arrive on Steam on May 16, with support for English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese languages.
