Forget the typical clichΓ© of the naive girl waiting for her blue prince to save her in an otome game. The project revealed its first trailer and promotional image alongside the creative team behind the production. Voice actress Fuuka Izumi will voice Alicia, the brave protagonist who refuses to follow the script of her own life. The production features direction by Noriyoshi Sasaki working in collaboration between Studio Clutch and Seven. Toko Machida handles script supervision and writing, while Hiroyuki Miseki does character design. The soundtrack promises to be a strong point thanks to the work of composers Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yuki Furuhashi.

The plot introduces Alicia, a girl orphaned after a merciless monster attack on her village. After surviving three harsh years in an orphanage, the young girl decides to escape, encountering a mysterious woman who tries to assassinate her along the way. During the battle, Alicia comes into contact with a strange crystal that grants her colossal knowledge, transforming her childish personality into a cold, calculating, and analytical mind. Realizing she is destined to be the heroine of an otome game, Alicia outright rejects that role and decides to grow stronger at any cost, learning to survive in a wild world with the help of a stranger in the forest.

About Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyo Survival

Otome Game no Heroine de Saikyo Survival is a series of fantasy and action light novels written by Biyori Harunohi and illustrated by Yu Hitaki. The story originally began on the web portal Shosetsuka ni Naro in March 2019, making the leap to print in April 2021 with eleven compiled volumes published to date.

The franchise also features a manga adaptation illustrated by Kobato Wakasa, which has been serialized since August 2021 and is set to release its ninth compiled volume this October. Following its initial announcement earlier in 2025, this animated adaptation is shaping up to be one of the darker and more direct fantasy proposals for summer 2027.
