Leon returns to the most unfair otome game in history, this time with more political enemies to manage. The second trailer for the second season of Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs arrived revealing the season’s theme songs and confirming the premiere for July 8, 2026. The core team from the first season returns almost intact, with a new cast member joining to expand the story’s political conflict.

The opening is titled “Jinsei Endroll” (Life End Credits) and is performed by the musical unit Ando, formed by Knight X member Sho Takeyaki, voice actor Daisuke Hirose, and music producer ANCHOR. The ending “Ashita wa Ashita no Que Sera Sera” is by MEISHOHIKOKAI, a group also featured in another summer anime’s ending, confirming their busy season. Both tracks can be heard in the new trailer alongside scenes introducing new elements from the second season.

About Trapped in a Dating Sim

Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs is a light novel by Yomu Mishima that started on Shosetsuka ni Naro in 2017 and concluded with its 13th volume in March 2024. The first anime season premiered in April 2022. The story follows Leon, an office worker reincarnated in an otome game world where women hold power and only attractive men receive favorable treatment. Armed with his previous life’s game knowledge, Leon tries to shake up that world while pursuing his simple goal of living quietly in the countryside, though the world has other plans for him.
