The new trailer offers a glimpse into the climactic moments the protagonists will face, adapting the fifteenth and final volume of the light novels by Hajime Kamoshida. Alongside a promotional image featuring Miori Mito, the trailer includes a snippet of the main theme song titled “Suihei-sen wa Boku no Furukizu finale,” performed by Toko Kirishima, who will also contribute the song “Turn the World Upside Down” for the film. Before its commercial release, the production will hold an exclusive cast screening on October 4.

The cinematic installment brings back the talented voice cast that has supported the franchise since its inception. Leading the cast are Kaito Ishikawa as Sakuta Azusagawa and Asami Seto as Mai Sakurajima, joined by Sora Amamiya (Uzuki Hirokawa), Aya Yamane (Ikumi Akagi), Konomi Kohara (Sara Himeji), Manaka Iwami (Miori Mito), and Reina Ueda (Nene Iwamizawa). Key returning voices include Nao Toyama as Tomoe Koga, Atsumi Tanezaki as Rio Futaba, Maaya Uchida as Nodoka Toyohama, Yurika Kubo as Kaede Azusagawa, and Inori Minase as Shoko Makinohara.

The animation will continue under the studio CloverWorks, with Soichi Masui returning as director. Masahiro Yokotani handles script supervision and writing, while Satomi Tamura designs the characters. The soundtrack will once again be composed by fox capture plan, ensuring the franchise’s signature melancholic and immersive atmosphere.

About Seishun Buta Yarou

Created by Hajime Kamoshida and illustrated by Keji Mizoguchi, the Seishun Buta Yarou light novel series began publication in 2014 and has surpassed three million copies in circulation. The work captivated audiences with its animated TV adaptation Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai in October 2018, followed by the acclaimed film Rascal Does Not Dream of a Dreaming Girl in 2019 and the feature films released in 2023. After the university arc adaptation aired in July 2025, this new movie directly picks up the events to deliver a definitive conclusion to the complexities of the “puberty syndrome.”

With the university arc reaching its climax and all pieces set for the farewell, are you ready to witness the end of Sakuta and Mai’s story on the big screen?
