Nitroplus has revealed that its upcoming 3D mech girl action title, Dolls Nest, will be receiving two new content drops this October. The first offering consists of three purchasable DLC character skins, while the second is a complimentary update featuring a brand-new “Combat Trials” mode.
Regarding the paid DLCs, Dolls Nest’s latest cosmetic pack, dubbed “Extra Form Data Set Vol. 2,” comprises the “Mace Manor Guard Humanoid” Collection, “Porokka General-Purpose Aviation Humanoid” Collection, and “Herros Solo Operation Humanoid.” Each skin will be accessible individually or as part of a bundle starting in October. Similar to the previous Extra Form Data Set Vol.1 skins, these new additions won’t alter any of your character’s performance attributes.
As for the Combat Trials mode, this fresh feature lets players hone their skills by battling against training units. Success in these encounters boosts your score, unlocking items based on your peak combat rating. Additionally, the training units provide their own dialogue, offering deeper insights into the game’s narrative background.
The Combat Trials update is scheduled for release in October, and a playable demo is currently available at the Tokyo Game Show 2026.
