If your recurring fantasy is being the ugly duckling of the family who suddenly turns out to have power capable of destroying entire kingdoms, then start preparing the popcorn. The production committee of The Oblivious Saint Can’t Contain Her Power (or Mujikaku Seijo wa Kyo mo Muishiki ni Chikara o Tare Nagasu for purists) has just released its second promotional trailer. This preview not only confirms that the series will land in the competitive summer season this July, but also gives us a glimpse of “Unknown Me”, the catchy ending performed by the group Utahime Dream All Stars.

Knowing that an anime of political intrigue and arranged marriages requires impeccable performances, studios Magic Bus and Picante Circus did not skimp on budget. To the lead trio we already knew, a couple of talents that the otaku community adores with madness are added:

  The legendary voice of Megumin in KonoSuba and Emilia in Re:Zero, now in the role of our clueless protagonist.

  Known for bringing Asirpa to life in Golden Kamuy.

  Famous for his role as Kazutora Hanemiya in Tokyo Revengers.

  Our eternal Rem in Re:Zero and Hestia in DanMachi joining the ranks of this magical drama.

The team behind the magic and forced marriages

In the director’s chair we have Mitsutaka Noshitani, who will work on the scripts adapted by Toko Machida. All this will be enhanced by the soundtrack handled by SUPA LOVE, and to kick off each episode with maximum energy, we will hear the theme “Windmaker” performed by artist Kaya. Definitely, the original light novel written by Almond and illustrated by Yoshiro Ambe is in good hands.
