About Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha

Created by Rui Tsukiyo with illustrations by Reia, the story began its digital publication on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro in July 2018, before being adapted into light novels by Kadokawa publisher early in 2019. The premise follows the world’s brightest modern assassin, who, after being betrayed by his superiors and dying in a staged accident, is reincarnated by a goddess into a fantasy world with the condition to eliminate the hero destined to destroy him. Assuming the identity of Lugh, the heir of a prominent aristocratic assassin family, the young man combines his extensive Earth-based technical knowledge with the deadly magic of his new world to become an unstoppable force.

With Lugh ready to face new challenges and a hero looming, do you think this second season will surpass the debut from 2021?
