Renowned developers of the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue series, Arc System Works, are scheduled to make an appearance at Los Angeles’s Anime Expo 2026. A recent update from the Anime Expo’s official X account suggests that the company might have significant announcements lined up for attendees.
The Arc System Works Developer Panel is set for July 4 (Day 3 of Anime Expo) and will feature Guilty Gear Strive producer Ken Miyauchi, Demons’ Night Fever producer Sohei Niikawa, and game designer and director Satoshi Hirayae.
As per the announcement, the team will provide “updates and development insights on Guilty Gear -Strive-, Demons’ Night Fever, and a new unannounced anime-style title.” Notably, Satoshi Hirayae’s involvement points to his direction in this mysterious project. Hirayae is known for his work as director on FuRyu and Aquria’s hit JRPG Crymachina, as well as Sword Art Online: Last Recollection.
