Mushoku Tensei anime releases new trailer with ending for its third season
Mika Nakashima voices the closing theme for the most anticipated arc of the season.
Eris’ Training Arc is one of those moments in Mushoku Tensei that readers of the light novels have long awaited to see animated, and every new detail released by the production team makes it feel closer. The third trailer for Season 3 focused on introducing the season’s ending theme, and the choice is significant: Mika Nakashima provides the vocals for the theme that will close each episode. Premiere confirmed for July 5, 2026.
The closing theme is called “Inori, Owareba”, with lyrics and music written by Shinoda, guitarist and vocalist of the rock band Hitorie. This isn’t the first time Hitorie has participated in the series: their second opening theme for Season 2 was also composed by them, so there’s a musical continuity that fans of the group will notice. On the opening side, Yuiko Ohara returns with “Ketsui no Uta”, adding another chapter to her long history with the franchise, having performed multiple themes across previous seasons.
The season will adapt the Eris Training Arc, which begins in the thirteenth volume of the original light novel. This arc focuses on Eris’s growth and development within the series’ broader narrative.
