The battles between gods and humans are not over. Warner Bros. Japan confirmed on June 26, 2026 that Record of Ragnarok IV is in production, announcing a teaser, the new logo for the fourth season, and a commemorative illustration by Azychika, the artist behind the original manga.

The third season, Record of Ragnarok III, debuted on Netflix in December 2025 before airing its first three episodes on TV on April 3, 2026. This installment continues the 13 one-on-one battles for humanity’s survival, focusing on the seventh match that will break the 3-3 tie between gods and humans. With this ongoing storyline, the confirmation of the fourth season signals that the story has much more to resolve before its conclusion.

Record of Ragnarok (Shumatsu no Walkure) is a manga by Shinya Umemura (story), Azychika (art), and Takumi Fukui (storyboard), published in Comic Zenon since November 2017. The premise pits gods from all world mythologies against the most powerful humans in history in a series of individual duels that will decide if humanity deserves to continue existing. The first anime season arrived on Netflix in June 2021, followed by the second in 2023 and the third in 2025.
