For those who find Pokémon’s monster battles a bit too gentle, The Demon Party offers a more intense alternative. Created by South Korean indie studio Team ETTU, this RPG lets you brutally conquer hostile creatures and turn them into loyal minions to strengthen your forces and expand your stronghold.
In The Demon Party, you assume the role of Lethe, the younger sibling of the Demon Lord. When her sister disappears and rival monsters besiege the Demon Lord’s Castle in a power struggle, Lethe sets out to assemble her own army and reclaim what was lost. This adventure unfolds after Team ETTU’s previous hack and slash rouguelite, Debugging Hero, where you’ll also cross paths with heroes determined to thwart Lethe’s ambitions.

Lethe wields the power of domination, enabling her to command any monster she or her allies have defeated. Once subjugated, these enemies regain their health and immediately join your ranks, each bringing unique stats, traits, and abilities to the table. For instance, monsters with high defense and a taunt skill can shield your party from incoming attacks, while those with strong magic and healing abilities can support from the rear, restoring health to allies. Even formidable bosses aren’t immune to Lethe’s control, as they too can be added to your growing army.

The Demon Party includes a stronghold that expands as you recruit more monsters, providing a clear sense of progression. As you advance, you’ll have the opportunity to level up your minions, craft items, and build a customized army tailored to your strategy.
The Demon Party is currently in development for Windows (Steam).
